Too many people are thinking of security instead of opportunity. They seem to be more afraid of life than death.

MT

Fuck this shit. It's only been four days and I'm already bored. I want to go back to Michigan. I never thought that I would say that.

So, pretty much this night ranks in the top 5 of my most frustrating experiences. After going to watch Pirates 3 in Seoul, South Korea (big deal by the way) Candice and I decided to go and wander around to see what could be seen. Well, we were relying on my impecable sense of direction to get us back and proceed to talk which thoroughly distracted me. By the time we decided where we wanted to go I had no idea of how to most easily get us back. So, we retraced our steps for over an hour and a half... walking in fucking circles. So, we stopped a taxi and asked him to take us to our hotel. After looking at the card we gave him he started talking Korean and indicating that we had to get out of the taxi. So we did, while being very confused. By now I was royaly frustrated and about ready to give up when lo and behold someone stops to ask us if we need help, or something to that effect. So he called to hotel to get directions, but of course the conversation is in Korean making it so that we don't understand a word of it. As he showed us the way it became evident that he had been drinking... as we walked he kept on talking about how I was tall and american. and getting continually closer. Finally we got to the hotel, which was only one side street away from were we had been. :S he then gave me a hug and watched us until we were inside. I feel somehow taken advantage of though I really don't know how. oh well. Creepy stuff. Time for bed hope you all enjoyed that story. Love you all.

Baking, watching movies, reading books, watching more movies, deciding that Christian Bale is wonderful and pondering why he has such a magnetic voice with Athena which resulted in far too many girly giggles, IKEA madness, awesome pre-Easter and Easter food, good wine, lots of driving, creepy detour into Detroit, moving books, and building things. A good weekend all in all I think. Yay for long weekends!

I was just reading past post instead of studying for the test I have in an hour and I discovered that, while it was fun, I should never have gone away for the summer. I was much happier before. Why can't we just grow up at one time, constant growing pains are difficult. Sometimes I feel like the tracing paper has been ripped and the tape is screwing up the rest of the picture...  sigh.
